How to tell a government website from a fake
Pakistani government websites end in .gov.pk. Read the address from the end.

One rule
Read the website address from the end. A government site ends in .gov.pk, like bisp.gov.pk or punjab.gov.pk. Provincial portals end the same way, like acag.punjab.gov.pk.
Warning signs
- The address ends .com, .pk, .online, .site or .info and has “8171”, “Ehsaas” or “portal” in the name.
- The site claims to show your PMT score or offer “online registration”.
- The site is full of ads and shows a WhatsApp “agent” number.
- It asks for your CNIC and phone number together.
