Ehsaas Kafaalat is now called Benazir Kafaalat. The name changed; the process and the official numbers did not.

Many people still search for “Ehsaas programme”. Today the programme runs under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) as “Benazir Kafaalat”.

What changed

Only the name. If a website or message says “register again under the new name and pay a fee”, it is a scam.

Websites using the “Ehsaas” name that end .com, .pk or .online are not official. BISP’s official website is bisp.gov.pk.

Three things that keep you safe

  1. BISP messages come only from 8171

A message from any other number, WhatsApp account or link is fake.

  2. Registration is free

There is no fee to register with BISP or to receive a payment. Report any deduction on 0800-26477.

  3. There is no online PMT checker

Any website that claims to show your PMT score is fake.
